He was indeed good going forward, but he gave the ball up way too often. He's fine as long as there is a number 6 behind him. That'll be Gana on Sunday.

So I'm on board with Gana/Davies, Davies being a bit more box to box, Siggy up farther in the middle, Vlasic and Lookman on either side - although Kev was good last night - and Niasse with his movement up front. Put JonJoe and Baines wide, Jags/Keane in the middle, and we could win.

I would EVEN be okay with Rooney up front in that lineup, but we aren't getting many headers if that's the case.

I'd rather have McCarthy than Gana to be honest. I'm fact, I'd start the same team, just with Keane replacing Williams

He runs around a lot but he's been sloppy in his tackling and positioning for a while now. CDM doesn't suit him.
