Same could be said for Rooney and Gylfi. Only one of them should feature at a time. Davies should be in the side for league games.

we forget he's a young player with a lot to learn, we shoudl let him express himself and learn, that will involve making mistakes an being in the wrong place but he's got some ability. Shame he's in a team that are struggling to find some kind of consistency in lots of areas.

I think his poor run of form came from the realization that Ronald was trying to bury him in the depth chart. He was trying too hard, but now he seems to have settled down.

Tommy-D, what a boy. Should be starting every game at this point, but we all knew that before today anyway. See if Ronald has got the balls to do so though over a player he's spent £25m on.

It may sound weird, but if spending big money on players that the academy products look at them and say "I'm better than them and I'm going to show it" gets results like Kenny, Davies, Holgate and Calvert-Lewin then I'm all for it.

Games like today are where he shows how good he can be. Inexplicably he tends to follow that up with a game where he disappears. The one thing keeping him from being a locked on starter is his consistency. I think on his good day our best formation has him on the field and only one of Gueye and Schneiderlin.

Proper player this lad, he will have his bad spells, he is still learning his trade, but, he is going to be a fabulous player. We really need to tie him and Calvert Lewin to very long contracts and build around them and Pickford.
