Needs proper coaching to tell him to hold his position. Needs to stop trying too hard which leads him to misplace passes. He's not sh1t. He's really not. But he's playing with bang average teammates, lack of a proper striker to aim for, and has a manager who supresses any form of attacking intent

Next season, proper manager, we'll hopefully see him kick on

A lot of the bang average players in this squad will think their cause isn't being helped by a youngster who's been well out of his depth all season getting so much game time. Davies needs to come back a different player in August.
 
On a serious note, Davies has been one of the biggest disappointments for me this season, in what has been a wretched season. However bar Pickford and Coleman upon his return, what player hand on heart can honestly say they’ve played to their potential this season? Davies showed us last season that there is real potential. However he along with a number of players need to get a good pre-season under their belts (hopefully under a new manager) and play to the ability we know the lad possesses and not the form of this last few months.

Bolasie and coco both played to their potential IMO... trouble is they're crap.

I'd be quite happy if he came back as Shaquiri...........
