NINETEEN YEARS OLD, GIVE THE KID A BREAK ..... I 100% agree, give him a break and ship him back to the U23 out on loan.

Week in and week out everyone says give him a break, he's only nineteen. But, week in and week out he is not good enough.

Exactly.

He is like DCL - he does not do one part of the game well to excuse the rest of his "raw" play. Like with Lukaku, his hold up play was crap but he could score, or Barkley, making wrong decisions but could score and drive the ball on.

He does absolutely nothing well.
DCL and him does well by running around

All of these 19 years old shouts.... He's played consistently in the Premier league for more than a year and a half. He isn't showing sufficient signs of progression and he doesn't seem to know what his position is.

His development is a concern. And questions need to be asked if he has got what it takes because I don't want to see another season like this one. To be clear I don't think he's the worst offender and I'd like to see him for another year but he has to buck his game up. He can't hide behind the youth excuse forever.

Arguably along with DCL a different manager may well be the answer.

His form is bound to be a bit up and down at his age. When he’s off form he should be taken out of the firing line that’s all. He’ll come good.

Name another 19 year old in the prem excelling? Also, one that's had 3 managers.

Getting less and less optimistic about him with each passing game. His limitations have been sticking out like a sore thumb.

I think he needs taking out of the side for a while, it's been a long season for him.

Missed a sitter today, would have fancied scoring that myself. Wouldn't write off Davies just yet, hes a decent supporting squad player, but now we're at 40 someone else should get a go instead. Would have been the perfect time to put dowell or lookman in but we Ballsed those up.

Alongside him and his pal DCL to Sheffield United for a year in June. He's gone backwards this season and could probably do with a year experience in a lower division.
