We have lost very often when he didn't see any minutes on the pitch. I saw the stats recently, and they look favourably towards him

So I make that 3 in 8 when he didn't get onto the pitch?

He's done well this year, I don't see why people aren't happy to accept he's a handy player. He's unlikely to become a regular who is a certain starter every week, but I don't see a scenario any time soon where he isn't good enough to be in the squad. He isn't even close to the top of my list to move on.

I would have him in the team with Allan week in, week out. He actually looks to move the ball forward almost every time which is an endangered species at GP. Both Allan and he look better beside each other.
Needs a summer in the gym but Tom is a way better footballer than Duke will ever be.
Duke is Forrest Gump - can run all day but cant play football. With the softest of press, we are a man down.

With a specific role now, he is not by far our worst midfielder, but is one of the youngest and cheapest.
On top of that he’s a smart lad, Dom’s best mate and an actual evertonian so you will never ever see him down tools like we’ve seen from some, always puts a shift in, even when he’s not at his best.
