This just sums it up, it’s so true. I thought he improved this season and wasn’t getting the ball nicked off him as often... It’s a lack of awareness and speed of thought. If you want to come and get the ball off the back four you can’t be losing it like he does, just about always results in a big chance.

He’s a nice lad, he’s not a winner though. He’s not the guy to take Everton to the next level and play regularly. He can be a squad player next season OR if an offer comes in then sell.
