I don’t understand why we don’t just play to dominate the midfield when we have Doucore and Alan healthy. Why do we put our hardest working winger up top to stand there and lose possession? Why on Earth did we start Mason and bring on Sigurdsson of all people instead of Tom? I just don’t get it

I am not sure what CA is thinking about our midfield but whatever it is is clearly wrong.
It is clear that Tom Davies is behind Allan ,Doucoure,Gomez and Sigurdsson for central midfield.
It is also clear that he should not be. We are much better with him in the team and at times are shocking without him, tonight for instance.

We won't be in Europe at all, but as weird as it may sound we could easily have qualified for the CL and I think CA himself comes in for some blame.

At the start of the season I thought he was rubbish and should be binned.
However he is one of very few who.gas improved. No idea why he isn't getting a game.

He has to be a better player than those on the pitch.....he isn't. Sounds like we are overrating him again into sounding like a saviour. He isn't and never will be. He is similar to all the others but just slightly below the bog standard that others are.
