Like a breath of fresh air today. Plenty of energy and moved the ball forward with every touch. Well in lad.

This, the whole of the team seemed to move quicker as a result,but he and Gomes ran the show....

Far more energy and urgency about the team with hm and Iwobi playing. We were actually quite good to watch today.

Making him captain for a game was bizarre though, im guessing it was just cause he is a local lad. Same reason why he's still at the club.

Davies had a strong game today; yes there were some stray passes but he moved the ball quickly, passed it forward and did his defensive job - well done. Unchanged team next time around.

I hope people get off his back and give him space to perform. He's a good footballer who does the right things to help the team.
