Not sure Gnamin is quite the player you are describing, but I think Silva sees Davies the way you characterize him. He doesnt trust him to be anything but pushed higher up the field. And he's right, he's irresponsible with the ball.

That myth has been debunked a lot.

No look - he's given us a 6-7/10 performance there. And that's good. But when we play poorly and he is on the pitch, he is so often the culprit.

He does give the ball away a bit more than you'd expect from a centre mid but it's because he's very positive with his passes, always looking to play a forward ball first time.
