Thought he played well when he came on.

If Gana's not fit, he has to start v Spurs. We need energy in there.

Then over Xmas he's sure to get his chances. Needs to take them.

Ganas injured play tom davies not aback five!

I don't think the back three was, on paper, the definite wrong way to go today tbf.

In hindsight, maybe, but I think even a back three with Davies ahead of them would have been better. It would have freed up Gomes to do what he does and get on the ball.

It's time for him to play with Gomes.

If Gana is out, yes, definitely.

And for games where we need to be on the front foot over Xmas, worth a go.

Btw, I'd like us to be on the front foot in all of our games. It's just realistically we're more likely to be have more of the ball against Burnley than we are Spurs.

Always wondered what his best position is as he doesn't seem to have the build or be good enough at carrying the ball to play as a CM. Think he should be coached to be a gana type harasser DM. This is based on my Fifa based knowledge so you know it is a good observation. .

..it’s a risky assumption to say sending them on loan will ‘enhance their value’. Brendan Galloway and Luke Garbutt were sent on loan when their stock was high and ended being deadwood on high salaries.

I agree the loans destroyed Garbutt and Galloway but I think Davies has all the attributes needed to make it apart from one which is decision making. The only way he develops this is to play games but when he plays for us the crowd are on his back. Get him out for 6 months and hopefully he'll get enough games that his decision making will come on and he may be the one to back uo Gomes.
