Tom Cleverley

Don't hate him, but can't see what he does to warrant a place in the team, offers nothing going forward, not good at making a tackle, just seems to run around blocking off space and pointing for others to do something.
Think Barry on particular looks bad with him alongside him, managers seem to like him but I can't fathom out why.

He just has such little impact on the game. It's alright when we're playing lesser opposition and he can blend himself in with a few sideways passes.

Yesterday was the perfect example however of why he doesn't belong at the level we're trying to get to. If he was playing for a mid table Championship team then no one would bat an eyelid.

There is a type of player who does things that go un-noticed; you only realise that they bring to the team when they are not there and things go wrong. Cleverly is the type of player who is not noticed when he is in the team; when he is not in the team you realise he contributes nothing when he plays.

Exactly, he's the anti-Gana

So he's just crap on and off the pitch ?

I do agree by the way x

I have said many times, his greatest ability is to find space where the game can pass him by. Phil Neville was expert at this.
