I don't rate him, but we were definitely much better when he came on. Put himself about and got some energy into the team.

Could maybe do a job in a 4-3-3 if Barkley were to be dropped?

All I ever remember about him was his idea of defending was to boot the ball 10 metres directly upwards in an attempted clearance then stand a foot above everyone else and head it away to an opposition midfielder.

He played for Engerland under Graham Taylor quite a few times too, if I remember rightly

I am not sure what people expect from squad fillers...

I don't have any major issues with him, but I don't expect a world beater..
