I actually didn't think he looked too bad today.. gets himself into some good positions. My main concern was that he was just too casual in his finishing.. should've really buried those two big chances he had in the first half.

He didn't have a good game but as you said he got in the right positions, I think we will know by the end of pre-season if he's gunna stay or be sold......

We've got Preston lounge season tickets at work. We met Tom at the club sponsors dinner at the end of the season, he's a really nice lad, was more than happy to chat and have photos taken.. however, having watched him quite a few times I'm not sure he's ready for premier League yet.

Saying that though. We used garbage like Maupay, so crack on let's give him a go!!

He was quite lively i thought, but he will be pretty frustrated to miss those chances. Especially the sitter right on half time. He looked far too casual with that one I thought.

He will hopefully get more chances in the next couple of games and hopefully he'll take them.

Apart from Maupays pen, what did he really do with a price tag of 15 million ? He looked his usual awful self TBH .... as you say Cannon did get into scoring positions .... probably a bit nervous.....
