Really not the same thing. The ball boy's job is to get the ball to the player as quickly as he can. A goalkeeper has a time limit lasting 6 (roughly) seconds when the ball is in his hands to kick the ball or put it down. He's allowed to hold the ball. The kid was being a [Poor language removed] and knew it.

We can argue whether he actually made contact with his ribs or his toe caught the ball without the rest of his foot catching him in the ribs but the point is, from the kids reaction and the refs pov it looks that as the kid was lying on the ball Hazard kicked his ribs and the ball at the same time.

So thats why the ref choose to send him off, he wouldn't have sent him off if all he did was kick a ball, its the way and circumstances of how he did it thats he got in trouble for.

Because refs never make mistakes, like EVER.

Was he laying on the floor before hazard touched him?-No
Was he laying on the floor after hazard touched him?- Yes
Did hazard aim at kick at the ball that the kid was laying on?- Yes

I would be ****ging one of our players if they had done it
