Looked up to see how often they have taken six points off us. They've done it 10 times since the war and 5 times since 2000.

Jesus if anything rubs in how bad we've been in derbies of late it's that. Even when up against Paisley and Shankley we didn't capitulate so much,

We play the occasion too much especially at goodison under Moyers. We'd huff and puff for 70 min then they would score two late goals to get the job done.

Let's hope that changes under new management

I really, really really do wish we could do something great with the little money we've spent over the years but the league's just so damn competitive. COYB, I want to see Reidy on a stolen BMX in some backwater Romanian village because he got smashed and missed the train home.

I mean, we go to away games and chant "Kopites are Gob****es" when we're not even playing them

Other fans must think we're nuts

I'm a Red Sox fan. I cringe every time a Boston team does something and mutants in the crowd start chanting "Yankees Suck! Yankees SucK!" ... I get it when you are actually playing them, but after the Bruins win a playoff hockey game ffs?

Fortunately I can't make out most the cheers when watching Footie.

DAFUQ...you're funding terrorism

I grew up in Boston.

Frankly, I f'in hate the Sox owners. And I haven't spent a dime on Sox merch aside from World Series DVD's. Long story short the former manager, Terry "Tito" Francona, they helped them end the 86 year drought by managing them to a title in '04.. and again in '07... was unceremoniously fired after a poor season, then run over the coals by Sox upper management with allegations about pill abuse, and all sorts of unfounded bs, even regarding his son serving in Afghanistan. Tito went to my Alma Mater, Arizona, and conducted himself well, so I took it mighty personally.

Basically you have a huge group of people in town who despise them for that and a bunch of other things now.

And most Sox fans despise their ownership of the RS as well. If you check http://bostondirtdogs.com/ now-ish, you'll see the ever changing thought bubble is kinda mocking the RS.

Not even arsed if they win it

Most of you lot make it worse on yourselfs by reading the papers, watching them on Sky and listening to phone in's

Media black out on everything Red, Honestly it works a treat, Ive seen nothing of today except the score line, I won't see the goals/highlights and I won't read about it, I have done this for beards, Try it

Totally agree mate. Done it myself for years. Decided to come off Facebook too as there was so many rednoses talking [Poor language removed] and Facebook has ran its course for me anyway. I am only concerned with us. Not competing financially for years always concerns me.

I thought Liverpool could have had 6 penalties today! Fellaini was responsible for a couple of them. Madness.

Who deserves to win the league? Liverpool and City have shown the most attacking ambition, so I'd have to pick them ahead of the more defensively solid Arsenal and Chelsea. The RS have done the double over the reigning champions, smashed Spurs 5-0 at White Hart Lane and convincingly beaten both us and Arsenal. But Mourinho and Pellegrini have got the better of Rodgers in their meetings so far. City have hammered the Gunners, Tottenham and United but Chelsea have beaten them home and away, so the argument comes round full circle.

pure and simple, if chelsea and city both do the double over the RS, then they won't or deserve to win the title if you're using comparable results as a basis.

not sure you can say arsenal don't show attacking intent purely because they're defenisvely solid
