Fair point, I forgot about Ribery! Even so, I think they'll go there with the "nothing to lose" attitude, field their best XI and go for it.
Even if I'm wrong (which is likely) and they do put their strongest side out against us, the CL will be at the back of their minds and we'll destroy them!!
Maybe I'm clutching at straws, but I remain optimistic.

heh? only the gibbs injury went against them - they had themselves to blame for not scoring, then were gifted a pen and messed it up. and then the defenders stood still and watched their keeper get sent off. even if they went with the run, they could have carried on going and covered szchesney ane he would have only got a yellow.
bayern also hit the woodwork twice and missed a pen like - opposite of everything going against you.
should have said something stupid like bayern will rue not taking a bigger advantage to germany, tie should be over etc. play a bit of mind games, if you moan about everything going against you, that doesn't make your opponent nervous, that just makes them want to spank you even more and take more joy from the win.

to be fair mate, imagine giving an interview straight after a game, just look at our matchday threads, I'd be fired on the spot for calling ossie gash and saying i'm gonna snap suarez in the parking lot

Well I imagine they'll get wins against Sunderland and Stoke, with the slightest chance that they'll progress in the CL, so I don't think they'll be demoralised. But, as I've implied before on this thread, I think we have a good chance, no matter the circumstances.

I can't get my head around people's thoughts on whether they are preoccupied with a game against Bayer having a bearing us, they should fear is just as much as them.
