Its more physical obviously. He always gets put on the weights when I watch Arsenal. For people to say he is average though is just ridiculous. Pique failed the prem lets be honest. Hes the same as Ozil IMO

I just think that after the top 3 teams in Spain, the rest, place for place would pretty much all lose to the equivalent placed team in the PL. I.e. If all 20 teams played each other in order of where they placed, I reckon the PL would win about 8 out of 10 at least. If any of that makes sense....

just had a dicussion on twitter about this. I take it he is embarassing for not doing it in the prem even though he has done it in La Liga which is the best league for technical ability?

I meant in this game mate. I'm a massive fan of his ability but he's been terrible today.
He just looks like he doesn't give a ****.

So are they a very good team when they draw to West Brom etc? Would Everton be the great team in all the papers if they beat Spurs 4-0 tomorrow? No. Because they'd still be 4th and 5th in the league and therefore not great.

dead soft just siad:

They are very good today because they are a very good team

so... even if they have a hard time beating the average teams, i guess they are a good team.

The thing with Liverpool is they haven't got the discipline to take care of the mid-table/bottom of the table clubs away from home. The likes of City and Chelsea will hoover them points up all season.

They have absolutely no chance of the title. They have their fight for 4th.

And by the way, can you immagine this lot fighting in the CL and the PL next season and not falling between two stools? This is their chance for a CL spot. It'll have it's pitfalls even if they take it.

That's clutching at straws a bit Dave. CL money is through the roof next season.

When all is said and done we're 2 points behind if we win. It's still 3 points for a win.

yeah ahah I always think about that and I disagree mate. Athletic Club would be a great team if they had a striker but they are stuck with two clowns. Villareal again are a good team. Its one of them I think, If we played Villareal at Goodison we would win ,but if we played in Spain then we would struggle.

Likes of Betis would hammer Fulham. Top 3 teams in Spain would beat top 3 in England

They wont be able to cope with CL/PL back to back games. They'd end up getting to maybe the first KO round and in doing so fall off the pace of the PL. It's a murderous timetable whatever you're squad.

To be honest their first two goals were down to Arsenal bad defending, and then they panicked like we did and 2 long balls caught them out, Arsenal to be fair have lost their two best players in Ramsey who was on world class mode at the start of the season who won them lots of points and have lost Walcot who also offers alot of pace, and is gibbs missing too? I dont like the arteta and wilshire partnership to be honest. Lets see liverpool without Suarez, who create alot of space for his teammates. What i do find impressive from the rs, that they rush the rival players all the time so they don't have much time on the ball. Wenger was wrong for the way they set up today, did he not watch our derby and the spurs game. Wenger didnt give the rs to much respect and thought he could play the way he wanted too.
