I think the haters need to consider what Martinez would make of:

- some Evertonians chanting "murderers" at Liverpool fans
- some Evertonians calling other blues "kopites!" for criticising the above
- the mass of hateful bile reserved for our chairman

If we want Bobby to stay at our club, we better not show him this hateful side too often.

a clear conscience indeed...

Errr what seat are you in the kop ? Sorry but you come across as one of them..(look back on your comments ..you have used "we're " instead of them describing the RS)

Apologies for the carragher comment and general comments about Liverpool- I think this season, more than most, because of the quality and closeness between the two sides in terms of ability make the rivalry a little more hatred than usual. In my lifetime supporting everton, we haven't won silverware and Liverpool have been considerably stronger but this season we are as close as we've been for a long time.

Liverpool, whether we like it or not, are a very good side and have learnt from the mistakes of last season and got their cohesion and togetherness spot on. I can get out of hand when in conversation about Liverpool, primarily because they've always been better than us and always edged past in derby games and beat us in cup competitions etc. today Liverpool were fortuitous but had the ruthlessness to finish off the chances and overcome a difficult period; that's CL material. Financially, they are also more potent than us, so should this season concluded with us finishing ahead of them, they'll reinvest and avoid stagnation in the team.

We don't like them and you can't change that; it's in the DNA and the blood. I have never shouted anything like 'murderers' or that to Liverpool because that's not rivalry, that's disgusting and that's inhumane. The thing that is great about the derby is we can be worst of enemies for 90 minutes and then have a drink afterwards; they're a huge club and we have to respect they've had a number of fantastic players over the years, as have we and at present, they are as strong as they have been for a very long time, as are we.

I know it all sounds hypocritical rubbish from a young teenage blue but this is not just a message to us lot, it's a message to all fans. There's a very thin line between rivalry and banter and sick, distasteful, inhumane comments. The line has been crossed several times in the past by ourselves and by Liverpool and by fans across the country, which has led to racism, discrimination and an acrid atmosphere. Goodison and anfield are cauldrons of noise and two of the best atmospheres in the country but in recent times, the atmosphere has taken on a sour note and the noise produced is not rivalry or derbies, it's dark and bitter. I love everton and I hate Liverpool but not to the degree where I'd shout things regarding heysel etc. At the end of the days, we're local rivals, bitter for 90 minutes and then friends for the rest.

Let's keep it that way.
Let's keep all derbies and all rivalries battles and rivalries for 90 minutes and nothing more. Sorry for boring the pants off you and for the carragher comment; just wanted to get that off me chest

Thanks for posting some reason, Brum.

Citeh are unstoppable. It looks like they've sorted out their away form now. Newcastle are now probably out of the race for 4th imo. It's down to us/RS/Spurs/Utd.

Christ how bad was Stoke' defending today? Just typical they can't do that when we throw the kitchen sink at them.

If Arsenal win, the top 7 will all have won their games this week, so no change, really. Roll on next weekend.

You're the one who chooses to post in world football and not in the everton forum.

You're more interested in talking about liverpool than everton, fair enough.

Wouldn't that statement apply to most logged in on this site then? I guarantee this thread is easily in the top 3 busiest over the last 2-3 hours.

You say it like all I do is post in World Football about Liverpool...
