Yeah. Don't know why people are happy that a team who were 4 points above us at the start of the day are currently heading for a 7 point gap.
Probably because its certain that they will end above us,and we need the likes of the toon to be as far behind as pos I think

It's not just about that though, it's whether the player's presence has impacted upon the play. Did he stop Hart from attempting a dive to save the ball? He probably never, but I can understand why the referee has ruled it out.
 
What you've written there just sums up why the rule is how it is though, surely ? Common sense should dictate what just happened there was never an offside, as none of the players in an offside position interfered with Hart's ability to save the shot or touched it on its way to goal.

have it for all over the pitch then. simple, you'll get ridiculous offsides, but why should a striker be standing in an offside position anyway. when i use to play striker, i would never just stand 5 yards offside, regardless of where the ball is, why would you? no advantage whatsoever.
