All 4 have a fair claim for being the best teams their countries have ever produced. You can add shamrock rovers and nefkhi batu to that, too. A fair few countries have had their best ever european club seasons since platini took over.

I actually liked Yobo quite a bit. Is that a controversial opinion to have on here or is he generally well liked?

Yobo was brilliant for his first coupla years for us. Our best defender at the time, and a sign of the even better quality defenders to come.

His performances eventually tired, the Prem got too fast for him, and his exit was very protracted. But I for one thank him for his excellent service to our club.

And even now at least he's playing in a European Semi-Final! More than can be said for any Everton player since 1985.
