By the wa, there's absolutely no way Ted Rodgers hadn't seen the incident when he was interviewed. 20 minutes had gone past between the game ending and him being interviewed and he even stated he'd watched "most of the incidents" ie; the goals, but he'd managed not to see the bit? He was even offered the chance to watch it during his presser but refused before the media officer urgently asked the reporters to "move it along"

The way I see it, he's not allowed to give his own opinions, he needs to wait to be told wha to say afterwards. An absolute puppet of a man.

I've never understood why the FA is able to overturn red cards given by the referee for overly harsh decisions, i.e. Gibson and Cole in our away game with West Ham, yet aren't able to hand out suspensions for when referees have been too lenient in their decision making.

I know. It doesn't make sense, does it? But what would you expect from the authorities?

WOW !!!

I've been pretty much out of it today (other than seeing the score) but I had no idea this happened.

In a word, unbelievable.

One question. Could you ever imagine an Everton player doing something like this? Phil Neville took a dive and Moyes nailed him for it and Phil issued a public apology...and that was just for diving.

I think Suarez is going to be banned good style for a while. How long? I don't have a clue. But any Liverpool fan even attempting to defend that sort of behavior needs to have a mental health check up.

Oh god, I've always thought that was a little plan hatched by Moyes and Neville to show how we deal with things like that and take the moral highground.
Reckon nevilles gonna take a bite out of agger during the derby now!
Maybe.

The feller's a complete clown. Even the (few) rational Kopites register that.

Yesterday he goes straight out to the press with something about *the Torres incident* - which was just the effete Spaniard jumping for the ball with Carragher with his arm leading, just an everyday challenge - pointing to it as some sort of equivalent to the rat's chomp.

Then he goes to the press mumbling some horse**** about *this club has unbelievably high morals and strong ethics*. The feller doesn't know what to be saying next.

He should shut his mouth and give his arse a chance.

Regardless of whether the ref saw it or not, acted on it or not, the FA can still assess a retroactive penalty in "exceptional circumstances" and if the worldwide media ****storm doesn't constitute "exceptional circumstances" I don't know what would. He's getting at least seven games.

Agreed - he's a bell and deserves everything he gets.

He's no one to blame but himself for the media shower either

Handball at the World Cup
Racist comments
Hand ball against Mansfield
Crocking Mirallas in the Derby

This is the first time he's ever actually apologised for anything. If he'd apologised after the racism and then cleaned his act up, maybe there wouldn't be all this media madness surrounding him

He makes his own problems
