Thought Sounesess comments were fantastic

Whatever else about him he's a good pundit who pulls no punches and he may have been filthy on the pitch but he's a really decent bloke as well. It's incredible they're slaughtering him with such venom, no actually it really isn't .


Explaining away the rascist abuse & the t-shirt bollocks led to the non-handshake stuff and all that with the explaining away of the diving , hitting the player in the international, giving the crowd the finger , the sneaky sh**house fouls and all the rest has led to today. Suarez is a great player but their indulgence has led to this situation , they are reaping a situation of their own making.

Thought Sounesess comments were fantastic

All Souness said was that he should be told firmly not to do it again though, "last chance saloon" and all that. They were weasel words given what Suarez did, what he has done in the past and the fact that the entire club is being laughed at by humanity because of this.

Reading some of the comments on RAWK you'd think he had just demanded the Shankly Gates be melted down and turned into printing presses for the Sun, or called for Kelvin McKenzie to be given freedom of the city or something like that.
