This management musical chairs has gone crazy this summer. Sky reporting Man U having talks with Kieran McKenna. I don’t know much about him and he appears to have done a good job at Ipswich but Man U, Chelsea etc. rumoured to be interested is nuts. OK, he might turn out good but he could also be another Nathan Jones
McKenna would be far better if he went to Brighton for a few years then Man Utd/Chelsea. Jumping straight into a top 6 club might not be the smartest idea imo.

Personally he mad to go, you think he would show a bit more loyalty unless he don't fancy tge challenge of keeping Ipswich in Prem
No player/manager/club owes the other loyalty, but I agree with you he’d be mad to go. Alonso had the right idea; stay where he’s loved for another year and see how these various messes play out. There’ll always be big jobs becoming free, there’s no rush.

He might surprise people.
His style will obviously be better suited to having better players.
He'll have a similar situation to when his team stormed the Championship.
ie. Having better players than everyone else.
Agreed, it depends if the Bayern players buy into what hes selling.

The United players didnt with Moyes, but that was a vastly different product he was selling.

He was poor at Burnley, but that really is a poor group of players, they smashed the Championship, which isnt a mug league, but the gap between The Championship and the PL gets bigger every season and you know the reason for that.

In normal circumstances I’d have have a lot of sympathy for Burnley, they backed their man, gave him 111 million, huge figure for them, to bring in his own players to develop and play his way, backed him completely when results didn’t come in the PL and backed him in the face of and achieving relegation. All it took was three mins on the phone and he dumped them.

As I say I’d usually have a lot of sympathy…but then I remember their letter to the PL narking on us, so good enough for them.

Watch that PSR lids.

"humble but world-class coach"

World Class coach?

He's done an excellent job with Ipswich and got a promotion he wasn't "supposed" to based on budget's etc

But World Class? I need to see more before I say that

He could end up being World Class eventually, and good on him if he does, but it seems a bit early to be saying that right now

We see this Sort of thing all the time in the world of football

Paquata could be looking a 10 year ban!
The fact this was actually flagged to UEFA/PL by an actual betting company in South America would suggest it's not looking good for him. Some of the bookings are a bit silly when you see them, there is one in particular where he does a hand of god type thing to stop the ball going forward and it's 90+ min into the game, I look forward to his explanation on this one.
