Totally agree mate, but would it be fair not to book Gray, then book a Cardiff player for doing it if one of them had done it, the ref would have had to throw the rule book out of the window for that one specific game.
I get what you are saying but I see I huge difference to them giving a message of respect to the people who passed away when everyone knew it would happen if they scored than a random message that no one would have known was coming from a Cardiff player. It's just a daft rule but I think it's mainly there so players don't market sponsors they may have etc.

Can't believe the Ref carded Demari Gray for taking off his shirt showing a message to those killed in that tragedy last weekend. Sometimes you need to throw away the rule book and let common sense prevail.
I don't understand why that rule exists to be honest. One of a whole host of things referees are supposed to police but are actually petty.

knowing how gash most of the refs are, knowing the rules, and knowing players were going to do it mate, maybe Leicester could have had a chat with the officials before the game.

Totally crap rule. I said earlier, if the players runs to the away fans doing it, or it's an offensive message, then yeah, book him. but too do it in front of your own fans, or in the middle of the pitch, then a yellow is ridiculous, especially if it's a second yellow.
