Whilst I don’t trust spurs one bit I would give them a better chance against pool. Premier league teams know Klippas system better and Spurs have the physicality to nullify Liverpool’s front line and are dangerous enough uptop to worry them. Ajax would of been cut thru with ease they wouldn’t be able to handle the physical pressure considering they struggled with a limping spurs outfit

I wonder whether the press will be having the same jizz fest over Spurs today lol

....I’m an avid news watcher but I never watched one iota of news coverage yesterday. I haven’t seen a moment of the other semi-Final, but Spurs are the main item this morning.

The Reds won’t be in the least bit happy having their limelight pinched. Spurs will be the latest to be added to their hate list.

Spurs should have won at Anfield... Son was only a 2nd half sub as he had been away on international duty...if Spurs are full strength (Kane is the big issue there), and can show the bottle they showed last night, then they have a good chance... They will be underdogs which will suit them, and will be a lot of pressure piled onto the Liverpool players from 3 more weeks of this media circus...

I think it’s because of the pace and in your face tactics, our top teams seem to play nowadays, Barcelona are all about attacking if they aren’t allowed to they are very ordinary. Look at our recent results, our players have been running much more and become or aggressive in an attacking way, that’s the way forward fast and quick attacking, don’t let the other team have a moment on the ball.

I guess thats a huge change but a team like Atletico I think set a standard for that which others have taken on board. But they have always been very solid at the back.

It's just a massive change in the game. I just think if your SAF or Benitez spent £300million and couldn't keep a 3 goal lead, they'd have been gone asap.

....lovely reaction by Lucas Moura when shown the Brazilian commentary on his last minute winner. Emotion demonstrates football still matters to these blokes.

Not sure if somebody clever can post it, but worth a look.

every blue this morning...
Certainly not the way I go about dealing with them. Better to just laugh in their faces when they assume you're gutted or just say you're happy for them with the most insincere smile possible. It annoys them beyond belief.

Mad how both European finals could be all English teams. Premier League is miles the best in the world.

However if dembele scores in the last minute of the Nou camp and the ref blows after 94 mins in Amsterdam. - very small margins rather than miles!

I'd love to see Spurs win it, and I would've said that at the start of the season. They play some great football, have lots of English players, and over the past 10 years, I kind of see them as 'what could've been' with Everton if we had been managed properly.
