Basically what we've learned over the past few days is that all foreign teams are complete bottlejobs.
And big let downs, the last thing I wanted was the final that has happened, that’s why I’m going to make myself busy that evening. The only thing that makes it bearable is if Man City gets the league, because ultimately that’s the big one to win, the CL seems to be getting easier.

How can you even say that unless your a spurs fan, spurs and them lot in the final, it’s a disaster for an Everton fan, the reds is obvious, but we don’t want spurs even getting even more ahead of us, a win will propel them to buying better players etc.

I’ll settle for Spurs pulling further away from us, if I am honest with you :(

For me, Wembley, May 1966. 0-2 down to Sheff Wed half way through the second half, only to go on to win 3-2. As a 15 year-old in the scoreboard end, believe me, that was totally mental!
Big moments that I’ve actually been to, probably: the 3-0 against Liverpool, Rooneys goal against Arsenal, Jagielka at the pit and maybe that 2-1 comeback against Spurs. That’s not exactly anything mind blowing the Jagielka one was a 1-1 draw ffs. If we weren’t so good at brainwashing our kids there wouldn’t be any Evertonians left lol

No way UEFA will settle for two English teams in the final. Next year will be corrupt as anything to get Barca and Real back in the big time.

It's a lose/lose scenario for us now.

A Spurs win is the lesser of the two evils but it would unequivocally see them join the rest of the top 6 in the elite and get them operating well out of our financial reach for the foreseeable future. We already had five opponents in that bracket. A sixth just significantly reduces the chances of us ever muscling into the Champions League.

I detest this sport.

The funny thing is we are taking about them teams, at least they have made progress over the years to get to finals, CL etc, we can’t even beat wolves to 7th. We have a manager in charge that will never take us anywhere near where these two have taken there teams. So tbh who cares who wins they are both light years ahead of us.

Good game that Spurs have more chance of a result,
Ajax didnt cope well with pressure and liverpool would have given them plenty of that plus that keeper's kicking would have been a gift for them , really think liverpool would have hammerd them.
Spurs hopefully will give them a game
