In the first leg Messi had his hands on his knees vomiting.

He couldn't keep up with Liverpool's intensity and admitted so.

The problem I´ve got with that is exactly the same happened in Roma last year. They obviously never addressed the issue and to be honest, part of the it is the way he saunters around the pitch on nights like these.

An unbelievable player. Probably the best to have ever played the game but the lack of intensity in his game is there for all to see.

I hate to write this but my son rightly pointed out that he thought my hate for the rs was stronger than my love for Everton. He's wrong but I promised to try and love more and hate less so here goes:

They always believed they could win that game 4-0, even without 2 of their 3 best players.
They've reached 2 Champions League Finals in a row, that can't be done purely on luck.
They've only lost 1 league game all season, and have displayed lots of fight and commitment, as have City, and made this a great fight for the title.

Therefore they deserve to win a trophy.

I am now off to the toilet to be violently sick, I hope you're proud of me son.
