Remember when Martinez said that the difference in the PL to La Liga was that the top teams in Spain could play at 60% and still get a result, but if you done that in the PL, you were almost certain to get beat.

These foreign teams seem to struggle with the high energy of English sides who are used to playing like that each week. Its like a shock to their system as they are used to getting loads of time and space in their leagues. They dont seem able to prepare correctly for it.

Oh they are. In fact, I don't even mind the team. Theyre certainly more tolerable than when Slippy and Suarez etc were running about. That's acceptable.

The cult is a completely different matter.

Despise them more now. Good side cant dispute that but i hate the way they get away with blatant cheating and diving week in week out and it not being highlighted more. They get a really easy ride from the media over the diving. Salah and mane every single game will try and con the refs. Title should already be over aswell as that pathetic fabinho dive at newcastle was bought by the lino. Hardly a word mentioned about it post match.

No. Our management team have not had as much time. We have been their equal toe to toe this season. Amazing result for them but you would think Barcelona, Messi were immortal after first leg. They were not, RS are not. Who could envision Man U being the disaster they are now. One swallow etc

Don't write off Spurs. Yeah they've bottled a lot but they beat also beat Barca this season remember.

Barcelona struggled against Roma last year as well. They just couldn´t cope with the intensity. Watching it you´d be inclined to say they didn´t care but I don´t think that´s true. They genuinely just couldn´t compete. An indictment upon the coach.

We give them 2 better games than anyone but City this season but in the grand scheme of things we are way behind them and won’t be catching them anytime soon. Their name alone means they can always attract top players and managers and in recent years have got their act together with recruitment and ontop of that are now throwing around 70m+ on players.

I know ( hopefully ) but it’s sickening seeing them win a trophy again
