The consistently certainly isn't there but one thing that is consistent is that you won't get something like that called if you stay on your feet and that means diving. It won't go away if referees call fouls when guys don't go down but it will slow down the diving I think.

Refs need to cut the soft penalties out of the game. If they keep giving them then players will continue to dive. Shoddy refereeing is encouraging diving.

I take your point, but in my view, the contact between the players was no more than a tussle. When Salah went over he convicted the ref that what he thought he had seen was something else. In my opinion the ref wouldn't have given it if Salah had stayed on his feet because it wasn't a foul.

I don't think Utd will sit back against City. City seems fine w/ this. However as of recent I think City has a more difficult time scoring if someone packs it in against them than say Liverpool does. So there is less margin of error for city is what I'm trying to say.

Jenas was right tbf. Most of the United team are bad or want out. I think only Jones and Rashford showed any commitment in that match.

- Lukaku knows he's been found lacking and wants out
- Pogba thinks he's god's gift to football and deserves better

- Martial looks class for a time then goes missing
- F knows whats happened to De Gea since the World Cup
- Smalling is crap and always has been
- Matic was good once, but is long past it
- Dalot might be young but he was awful

- Fred actually cost 40m lol Makes Klaasen look like good business. Terrible player.

Lindelof also looked like he at least cared when he sought a pass and none of the midfielders moved an inch to give him any options lol, poor sod

Phil Jones has been there about 4 years too long aswell, they're terrible at offloading deadwood.

That didn't warrant a penalty. Ashley Young on Calvert-Lewin was much more of a penalty. It is the consistency that is lacking.

Consistency is lacking? There's a massive consistency that if a player from a top 6 team goes over like that, they get the pen, when if a team outside the top 6 does it, they don't...they probably end up with a yellow. I heard martial did a horrific dive yesterday and didn't get a yellow. I mean the law is idiotic in itself that the biggest punishment for cheating they could think of, was to give a yellow. The fact refs can't even be bothered to enforce that all the time either just shows what a joke football is.

Manchester City have one game to win the league.

Brighton should be safe by the final game assuming Cardiff get maximum 3 points from next two games (Fulham away, Palace home) and Brighton can find a way to defeat Newcastle in their final home game (that's between Arsenal and Spurs away).

Cardiff final game against United away.

Aside from that City have Leicester and Burnley, both safe and in no-man's land. Leicester have Arsenal, City and Chelsea in their final three. Lose/draw to Arsenal and they'll be likely be minimum 5 points off 7th with two to play. (Watford have a game in hand, are already a point up, play Saints next then Wolves at home).

If the City players cannot get up for the United game they don't deserve the title. Day extra rest over United who are under pressure to drop the likes of Rashford, Pogba etc for their recent form.

Win puts them a point ahead with around a +8 goal advantage.

Come on ffs.

Sheff utd playing well,2up at Hull and a great 2nd with Leeds having what should be a tough game at Brentford later-would not be surprised to see Leeds lose

And norwich lead good finish, these are my 2 games watching same time for 3pms lol

....watching Sky Sports and it’s showing all the Championship goals as they go in. Good start for Sheffield United, 3-0 now. Interesting what happens with Dowell if they go up.

Pretty much my feeling on it. If you can’t find a way to beat that United team with the title in reach, then you haven’t done enough. They only have to concentrate on the league until the FA Cup final. With the players they have they should walk it. I also don’t think Newcastle sandwiched between the Barcalona ties is ideal for Liverpool if they are still chasing City. If City give them a sniff though I don’t think they will look back.
