They wont win it again, nobody could be as lucky twice.

said before the start of the season, when they announced VAR wouldn't be used, that this will be their last chance to win the league for a long long time. As it's been documented, they haven't won the league since the back-pass rule was scrapped. They're still going to get dodgy decisions with VAR, of course, and i don't believe in all this conspiracy crap, but it was clear as day that they were going to get helping hands from a lot of officials this season. It's the only reason they're actually in this race, city have breezed past pretty much everyone. How many games on the trot have the RS won in the last 3 months where it's been really close and decided by large luck or a dodgy decision? There's so many. Their influence in the media is too big for refs to feel that they can deny them big decisions.

When VAR comes in, with officials given time to think things through, it's going to be a much more level playing field. If they screw up this title race i can't see them sustaining a challenge like this season.

I honestly don’t care who wins the league if it’s not us. Plus, a lot of us - me included - have mates and family members who support Liverpool. At least some loved ones will be happy if they win.

As a few have said already, we won in impressive style today. That’s all I’m really bothered about.

My brother in-law and sister support the RS. I don't talk football with them, and they are not allowed in my house wearing any of their propaganda.

Same goes for my mates and their kids if they are of that wrong persuasion.

I had a party for my son last year and 6 kids turned up in full RS kit.

I was fuming.

"Everyone in Liverpool will be a United fan on Wednesday night"

Can't believe he just said that

Haha. Each to their own!

Both of my brothers are reds, as is my best mate and then earlier this year my 5yo decided he was going to turn to the dark side as well. At that point in our season, and after 30-odd years of mainly misery, I found that I couldn’t really present a compelling case for our defence.

It might sting to see them win, and it’ll almost certainly be unbearable to listen to them for a few weeks after, but ultimately I’m just not that into the tribal side of football fandom.

I have no problem with any other club.
Mancs are welcome, as is anyone else.

Just them.

Never forgiven them and never will.

Had so many run ins over the years with them too that I am too battle hardened now. Shame really as to hate is a horrible sensation and I really wish I didn't, but the list is as long as the mersey.

I would let my son follow any club he desired apart from one. :)

I know some nice kopites, but some others, who are normally nice enough people, turn into complete monsters where Liverpool are concerned. I also hate the guilt tripping from their fans and this whole thing about how we HAVE to root for them and anyone who doesn't is a Tory or hates the working class or Scousers or whatever. I've never voted Tory in my life. I don't like Liverpool FC. I love the city of Liverpool and I've had some wonderful times there, but the team can sod right off.

OK...go back to 1977.....get to League Cup Final....lose 3-2 to a goal from Nicholl he would never score again and a mistake from Darracott at O/T. Short time after play the rs in the FA cup at Maine Road, denied a perfectly good winner from Hamilton by Clive Thomas and get beat in the replay. Rs's first European Cup win........thats called a really bad season......I'm still here and supporting EFC.....think I am starting to live up to my user name given I'm an auld git . And no I dont want that shower to win anything but i am drawing on my previous experience to keep a sense of perspective.....Come on you Sky Blues !!
;);)

It's setting up nicely for more rounds of kopite tears. Looking at their team inews fake first all season. Just for the reality to bang in last min. Barca coming up. Love it.
