Like I said, I totally agree that he will be a miss as he's a very good defender. However, Fernandinho screens their defence so much and acts like their anchor.
It was very noticeable when he was missing for a few games and their performance and results (if my memory is correct) slumped accordingly.

I think in this case, he needs to publicly show his authority....
Sarri backing down the, obviously more bothered about making sure he gets that pay off than saving his own integrity. Poor.
That is going to cost him whatever dressing room respect Sarri had left I’d have thought.
