Just before they started they said they'd be using alternate? Why idk.I thought they changed the format of pens?
Probably because chelsea asked.

He did but got the cards right and didn't bottle it, strong reffing thatthe ref got his fifteen minutes.
Yes mate.
He'd be a lot better than Martina and that Kopite Baines, that's for sure.
The Pedro double yellow was justified but the Morata sending off was a bit harsh. The defender has his arm around his shoulder, he has no reason once[what] so ever to do that. There have been loads of lighter penalties given this season. Fine if you don't give it/even give him a yellow for a dive whatever but to give an extra yellow on top for a bit of frustration is just ridiculous in such a situation.
Mind you I think he did Morata and Chelsea a favour because no way he would have scored his penalty.
Top post. Agree 100%.We have not yet reached the point where football is a non-contact sport. It was a dive, 100%. Yellow card. Instead of walking away, he then mouthed off to the referee. Refs should NOT have to take that kind of thing from players. It's not frustration, it's verbal abuse. 99.9% of the time, they get away with it, and it encourages others to do so as well. Good on the ref for not taking any merde from the guy and showing him a second yellow. I wish a lot more refs had the balls to do the same thing. Might tidy up and improve the game. You don't see that kind of behaviour going on on a rugby pitch...

Peter Reid WAS a kopite...
Sorry mate we'll have to agree to disagree. I would have given a goal kick in such circumstances; he should have kept his arms to himself it's quite easy to do you know. It is part frustration, especially after he should have given the clear Willian penalty (what VAR?). Well yes rugby isn't football. He made it all about himself and missed a clear penalty; hardly a top referee performance.
