VAR and fouls ain't gonna work cause it's still in the hands of the ref. How can it work with someone evaluating their own decision. It needs to be independent. Otherwise I'd just go for offsides and scrap foul reviews.

haha, only swicthed it on for pens and i've seen two reds. Was just reading up about what's happened and about to lambast the ref because i do have a fear most are a bit too egotistical to use VAR and that seemed the case here.
But full plaudits for that morata red card, chelsea are a team who constantly look for the easy way out and that was a dive, despite contact, but i like the way he just got the red out based on the reaction. It does my nut in how refs get intimidated by players when they have the cards. Well played.
