Think its more to do with it takes to long, though VAR should not have been needed to see that, plus,VAR is not making a decsion, the ref is still having to make a decision after some time taking viewing it etc,Goal line tech is instant

apparently it was clear cut that he punched the ball in the net. One look and the right decision is made. To be honest, i have no issue with time. Look at the way football is, every single game about 10 minutes is wasted through time wasting. If from top down everyone is happy for fans to pay ridiculous amounts for just over an hour of actual football, then at least they don't have to be massively cheated as well.

There's way too much money in football now, way too much that comes about from relegation for stuff like this to be stuck in the dark ages. No official can see everything from all angles, however, i don't see how they can't show it on the screen like they do in rugby. Or at least have the 4th official look at it with communication from the ref.

They made it seem like they were in a crisis, destined to finish 5th etc. Based on one game
Leicester were by far the better team yesterday but I don't think it's simply that which is making people question Chelsea's current position.

Four games into 2018 and they haven't won a game, albeit they have in fact played Arsenal twice , an upcoming Leicester and Norwich (urgh!).

I think the talk of Conte being unhappy, possibly leaving and comparisons against last year are probably being thrown into the mixer as well.

Nevertheless, the table doesn't lie and they are still in third place with the same points of Manure, although they do have a game in hand.

A few wins within a run of games and it'll all be forgotten about and another team will be facing the microscopic analysis by the press et al.

Not too long ago it was Manure and José who were under the microscope, before that it was Spurs and those lot across the park will be soon.

Tbf they constantly said conte want happy and wanted to leave throughout last year. If love us to at least try and go for him in the summer of he's not at Chelsea. Who knows, maybe he likes the prem enough to stay.

I'd have Conte every single day of the week and I agree we should be aiming at such lofty heights, but the likelihood is incredibly slim to none.

In fact, I'd actually file that in the pile where we were interested in José and Simeone as being our manager as look how that turned out.

Put simply, we as a club do not have the profile, quality of players or the funds (to help achieve the first two criteria) to attract such managers.

With regards to Conte at Chelsea, I have the feeling that the situation at Chelsea, whereby he is only the head coach, is beginning to alienate him.

He doesn't entirely (or perhaps at all) chose the players at his disposal combined with intrusion and instruction from those above him.

Look at his comments about Barkley's signature amongst others: did he have any part in the decision to sign him? Pretty much doubt it.

the hodge and moist are just two points behind us
That's how good allardyce has been for us in a nutshell.

Yes we are 9th but other teams who were worse than us she he took over are potentially having a much better run than us. Only the fact other teams have had to have bad runs has propped us up in the top half.

What happens when Southampton stoke Swansea start winning? We get dragged into a relegation battle again whilst we fail to even shoot in games let alone score!

Now I think there is no danger of going down this season now because I don't believe there is a chance for Brighton Swansea and Huddersfield to outpoint us for the rest of the season at least but if bournemouth west ham and palace find themselves above us then allardyce has been a failure also no question
