Today's Football 2015 / 16

Perhaps I've been spoilt by the prices I paid for German togger a couple of weeks ago but that seems pretty expensive to me. Out of the four games I attended the most I paid was €28 (so I guess about £20) for Hertha Berlin vs Köln and St Pauli Vs Duisburg. Union Berlin vs Fürth was €16.

Not just Gillingham of course, to go and see my local none-league side would cost £14.

Football ticket pricing in this country is in a right mess and we're being fleeced, though of course you somewhat understand why the prices are relatively high in the lower leagues when it's their main source of income. The prices Premier League clubs charge is why I have declared to never again attend a Premier League game whilst the clubs continue to take the piss out of fans.
I live in Southend and have been to a couple a games in the past, never close to a sell out, I've never understood why they don't do dirt cheap kids tickets with a paying adult. Get the crowds in, get them buying pies and beers (and sweets for the kids), see the cash roll in. They have to open the ground, illuminate it, pay the stewards, open the bars etc, so why not try and fill the place?

I've got some bad news if you included St Pauli in your accumulators

According to the BBC, there are strong rumours out of Wearside that it is likely that Advocaat will leave Sunderland today regardless of the result.

Struggling in the league, someone is brought in who saves the day, they subsequently spunk cash on tosh players and perform awfully again.

It's as if they're on repeat year after year .... the sooner Sunderland are relegated the better! Joke of a club how they're run.

Nigel Pearson linked with the job.

Hahahahaha

Sorry @Albertini78

Palace showing a bit of a nasty edge in this game with West Brom - putting in some elbows and tackles from behind
That being said - they might be the most entertaining team to watch in the league this season

If Palace can keep playing this level of football through the season, they're genuine European contenders.

They haven't got any top stars but they've got attacking players that have clicked together. Puncheon, Zaha and Bolasie together are dangerous. With Gayle up top and Cabaye behind those three I mentioned, they'll win more than they lose.

Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland could well be 5, 7 and 9 points adrift of 17th place after today. After 8 games.
