It is the same as its a player trying to "win" foul based on a situation.

Anytime there a soft foul or someone saying "he's waited for the challenge" does that mean they've dived or simulated?

The challenged has been made from the defender. Here the defender made no challenge at all. They have both tried to win a foul but they are very different. Vardy moved quite a way from the ball to make sure there was contact.

Defender is running, and is making no attempt to go for the ball, Vardy 'deliberately' throws his leg into the defenders legs and goes down, there was no accidental coming together, Vardy knew what he was doing, even Heskey said it was a dive.

There was no time to add on. When the penalty was given, there were about 30 seconds left. Time does not stop with the award of a penalty, but the penalty still has to be taken even if it goes beyond the alloted time. So, in the time taken to take the penalty, time was technically up (if the added on time was four minutes dead).

Another example of how poor a referee Moss is. As soon as the goal was scored cleanly across the goal line, he should have blown for time. Simples.

I know there wasn't time to add on.

I just wish more refs had the same mentality in a few of our games this season.
