Because he flew into the air like he was in the Olympic diving pool.
TBF he was being pulled back...prob made too much of it.

It was blatant, especially on the replay where he has a snide look across at him first.

Irrelevant though ain't it? His leg is caught by the defender - at best the ref should wave that away as an accidental collision.

Ok mate. You're right. You're always right.
Doesn't matter, loads of strikers trail a leg to buy a pen, or every player all over the pitch.
If there's contact, then he can go down and the ref can then decide if a foul has been committed. Simulation is when no contact has been made and the player has tried to cheat.
If there's any tangle of legs, it's not simulation.

But overall similar as in a stable club, with money, ran and managed by someone clueless who could see us scrapping in a relegation fight.
Just because it may not have been a foul, does not make it a dive.
