I think once we near Christmas the congestion of the teams' fixtures lists begins to equalise we won't be at a disadvantage any more like we are now with EL midweek. Other midtable teams' squads will begin to be stretched and we'll be able to take advantage.

like people on here say, we seem to be a team better at chasing than being out in front anyway, but we have to be out in front eventually. i don't like to use last year as an example because arsenal did something crazy like win their last 7 games in a row. the only issue i have so far this season is there have been 3 or 4 instances already where we haven't taken full advantage - just like we did with palace at home last year.
