i'll have pride following everton no matter what.

i would struggle to find pride in following a club who's main outlay of success is based on luck and dodgy decisions. i don't know what they were like in the 70's - but i've followed footy since 96 and they've still yet to win anything where i've thought, yeah they actually deserved that. there always has to be controversy or luck, i mean it's not exactly anything you can take too much joy in is it.
lollollollol

Both those teams will be playing reserve sides. They will put an absolute first choice XI out if they draw one of those teams, which will even it up more

Reserve sides at Chelsea and City dont exist. Their reserve sides are better than the ponies getting starts for Liverpool.

Jose's got this...just as he had last season.

You've got to hope Chelsea don't draw City away in the next round and get knocked out. There's no way Mourinho would let the rs beat him. I don't trust City, however

I reckon Newcastle will typically roll over for them at the weekend. 0-3
Don't think so mate, pardew is fighting for his job and they're struggling to stay out of the relegation places, teams have seen this year that if you have a go at them they will crumble. Rs might spawn a win but it won't be a walkover.

There will be four teams left in that QF draw who are all capable of beating Liverpool: City, Chelsea, Spurs and Stoke/Southampton.

They have a lot of work to do even to get to the SFs if they draw any of them.

It's a minor irritation though: just a few short months ago they were on the brink of a real achievment. Seeing them in the QFs of the LC is a walk in the park to deal with.

That's true. It still sends a shiver down my spine thinking what could have been, thinking what we would have had to endure...
