i'll have pride following everton no matter what.

i would struggle to find pride in following a club who's main outlay of success is based on luck and dodgy decisions. i don't know what they were like in the 70's - but i've followed footy since 96 and they've still yet to win anything where i've thought, yeah they actually deserved that. there always has to be controversy or luck, i mean it's not exactly anything you can take too much joy in is it.

if you take joy in things like that then you really are living a sad life. i've seen their breed, they have extra digits on their limbs, they walk around south wales in their fake thai rip off shirts or 1996 replicas that they've found in a charity shop. they go to see a match once a decade if they've ever been. if that's what they call supporting a football club, then fair enough - it's not my idea of it.
