Bold statement here, I reckon Villa will finish top 10 next season.

think i said that start of this season ha. there's nothing majestic about what shirwood is doing so far in his stint as a manager. He's just identifying his better players (like he did with adebayor) and just playing to their strengths. Simplistic really and reaping good rewards, fair play to him, his teams are good to watch.

What a season Antoine Griezmann is having. Superb player. Scored another 2 goals today and thats 25 in all competitions this season so far.

Much as I was/we were happy that Villa beat the RS last Sunday, I would be quite happy to see them go down if only to get rid of hearing yippee-aye-a, yippee-aye-oh ever five bloody minutes when they play... Nauseatingly boring sods.

City fans are obsessed with this league being "corrupt" and against them, wonder if they'll forget all about that tonight. They should have won that game 2-3 and arguably should have lost Hart to a red card

Haha. Can you see them getting relegated this season?
I think they've got lucky again with Sunderland being so poor. I can see 36 points being enough to survive this season. I'm loving that we play them next week at their place. Decent record at Villa park in recent years and how amusing would it be for us to go to Villa park next week and put them in the bottom 3 with only 3 games remaining.

Sean: Villa should of been 3-2 up before Man City even had that corner. Shock, Top 4 side benefits from an appalling decision again.

didn't watch the game, but was it an appalling decision? seems to be that benteke was level. no offence like, but even without seeing it i can say that's not an appalling decision. assistants are not going to get 100% of decisions ever correct. there's a world of difference between the wrong decision and and appalling one.

It was hardly 'appalling'. It was a bang, bang play...he was level, but in real time he looked offside. He'd been caught offside at least 4 other times, so not surprised.
