Please, please tell me that the Ipswich midfielder by the name of Bru has a first name of Ian.
I would be made up

As an aside, thought Mings looked very promising when he started the second half. Arsenal & Utd are supposed to be "monitoring" him. Worth a punt?

Surprisingly the fans still give Soldado plenty of support haven't really turned on him at all.

As you say we have averaged 6th place over the last 9 seasons so I suppose there is some method in Levys madness.

You just need some stability to be honest

Give the new man at least 3 seasons and time to get his own players in and the dead wood out

ipswich have received jack sh*t from the officials tonight, this has been a dire dire game of football though, not enjoyed it one bit - was looking forward to it too.

Thought this last night watching the game, like the ref felt the need to protect poor old Saints from those nasty Championship players,he's probably never seen Wanyama play.

I can't wait till refs stop giving Wanyama the benefit of the doubt and start booking him more for the reckless tackles he does.

Well played mate. If only we were as ruthless in dealing with poor management as levy has been we wouldnt be in the embarrassing situation we now find ourselves in. It may be knee jerk but at least you consistently find yourselves in the top 6 year in year out.

Lol.

LOL indeed, if Levy backed manager's before sacking them they would probably have done more than one cameo appearance in the champions league and might even be an established top 4 team.

Sacks Jol when he should probably have backed him more. If not for the dodgy lasagne he would have got them into the top 4 back n 2006.
Sacks Redknapp, who should have been given the funds to buy proper players in January, not Ryan bloody Nelsen and Louis Saha.
Sacks AVB before giving him enough time, even though he didn't back him properly with the players he wanted...Moutinho being a prime example.

Don't blame him for sacking Tiger Tim seeing as he comes from a family of gooners but bizarrely because he got Greedybayore on side he had one of the highest win ratios of a Tottenham manager.

I'm ashamed that so many Evertonians on this site and amongst the fan base are prepared to tolerate the very real prospect of relegation to keep Martinez in a job.

I am a bit confused by this comment.

Are you saying that people who believe that Martinez can get us out of this bad patch are actually believing that Everton getting relegated will be a good thing as long as Martinez is still manager?
