You have to be impressed by the job he is doing on a club which had allowed itself to become Scottish football’s perennial underachiever but is now riding to the rescue in our game’s hour of greatest need.

He is delivering a title challenge and creating a credible rival for Celtic who have gone too long now without squabbling with a significant other.

The smart money says this is still Celtic’s title to lose. And it is. But at least this year they’ll be made to win it. Aberdeen’s renaissance under McInnes has made sure of it.

Would be a good story for football when a team outside the Old Firm win the top league in Scotland.

I believe this is the 30th Anniversary of Aberdeen's last league title win - before the league was to be monopolized by Rangers and Celtic until the present.

From an Everton point of view, not really Bristol City imo. They are having a great season, and have a habit this year of spawning wins in the 95th minute. Also, the ground is being rebuilt, so only about 1000 tickets. And they will be in the home end most likely. And Bristol City have a real load of whoppers as fans.

But I live 10 minutes away, and will be able to at least meet up with some lads on here, so I want them.

You've still got the Europa and there's plenty of time to catch up in the league to the European places.
