I've oddly gone for Fulham Watford.
Been quite good so far.
It's great, Fulham are getting smashed with what looks like a homeless guy in goal.

Oh, Liverpool who had to score the third highest number of goals in PL history to secure 2nd place? A Liverpool team settled as a unit and a manager in place for two seasons? That Liverpool? Yes, that's a very tight fit analogy. You got me there.Funny that you say that, it worked for Liverpool last season.
If you have four world class attacking players in your team plus a host of other experienced top level players you should be looking at the Champions League. Their defenders are not league one standard.
You don't know much about football Davek. We get it. You don't need to keep making it so obvious.

Stick to rugby, Taffy.
They were terribly defensively but superb on the attack, which is why they finished 2nd. All the other stuff you posted is bumf.
United have brought in Falcao, Di Maria, Herrera, Rojo, and Blind to a team that finished 7th the year before. If we had done that in 2012 after we finished 7th i'd have fully expected our aim to be the top four. Same goes for United.
You cant just throw a load of expensive price tags together for a few months and expect a team to emerge.
It's a team game. They certainly should be up their challenging with 6 other teams for a CL place given the attacking prowess they have, but to "expect" them to get it is beyond reason.
Van Gaal will have done a great job if he adds some cohesion there in a very short period of time and sneaks a CL spot this season.
Doesn't always work like that though, mate. As stated above, City spent hundreds of millions in their first two seasons under the Sheik and didn't get top 4 - and in a less competitive environment than this one. He'll do more than sneak it, they'll be comfortably top 4 by season's end. I agree with the lads here, if you throw enough money in the right direction, you'll get a Champions League side. They're far, far away from being potential champions, but buying Di Maria, Herrera and Blind is a good start. They have an advantage over teams who spend comparable amounts of money in that they can attract genuine stars like Di Maria, whereas Spurs and Liverpool usually have to settle on players well down their wishlist.
Been watching Dortmund on the net just to be different, they are 1-0 ahead at ht via a diving header at the back post that the keeper failed to get, still bottom after finishing 2nd/2nd/1st/1st the last 4 years, what's happened to them as ive only just started to watch the german footy this season really, have they sold there best players or something, with the cup game on bbc 2
Dortmund just had a 2nd goal disallowed for offside, that was onside by a mile

The word "expect" is dubious for me. It's not about just throwing £150M at it and expecting the matter to solve itself. There's a manager and a lot of players first time into this league, That makes it no cakewalk.
