About £10m I think? Anyway you can't compare 2014 transfer fees with 2004 prices.

£2m for Bent and Cahill (£6m for Beattie in January). Just stating that Southampton have spent a considerable amount of money, whereas we did not, even for 2004 prices.

Yes, but Southampton have had Barcelona give them nearly £50 million via a third party.

Southampton did spend nearly £60m, like. When we came 4th we must have spent, what? £4m? Less? Of that Rooney money.

Having sold how much? Lets not forget the small matter of this seasons increased tv revenues. If a side plays some decent stuff, great, if that same side is on course to upset the sky 4 apple cart, even better. Sue me. (Pollard innit)

If that side is above us? Then yeah I want them to drop points. Said I'm only arsed about Everton that aba 3 times.

Lowest attendance for a league game at Villa for 15 years - just 25,311 there.

Thought they were a 'massive club'? We had 14,000 more at Goodison on Saturday.

They're really voting with their feet now.

No need for that, it's Kopite talk. Villa are a decent club with decent fans unlike the lot across the park who count fans, twitter accounts, shirt sales etc etc. There's more to football than numbers.......

Looked quite empty

Shame

That being said, it's not like Villa are giving their support much reason to show up at the moment is it?

Imagine being old enough to remember winning the European Cup and now turning up each week to watch what's currently on offer?

They really do remind me of Everton Pre-Moyes at the moment

Bet the rs will be in for him. cant see him staying at West brom next season. Wouldn't be surprised if the rs come in for him this Jan

RS will have a scatter gun approach in Jan. Can see them bidding for Bolasie after Sunday too. In fact anyone who looks half decent on half a season's performance. Seems to be the measure of Brenda
