KOFF WEIMANN. Missed that great chance to put them 2-0 up then they go up the other end and score.

Knew Southampton wouldn't win anyway. They're in for a tough Christmas period.

Yeah but they are very good at dealing with weaker opposition which maybe all that is required

At the moment that would seem the case, They may have a season like Liverpool last term, No Europe, One game a week, Less chance of injuries to key players

They've had a good start, but they've played 2 of last seasons Top 7 and lost both, who by the way are having awful seasons... Add to that, their best players are yet to be injured. That 2nd place, you could say, is a 'false position'. Still had a good start to the season, but people are going overboard a bit.

Koeman still whinged about their 'hectic' schedule in the local paper down here.

He's a bit of an idiot.

They haven't played anyone of note yet, They have had a pretty easy run up to now

Hull, Leicester, Stoke, Sunderland, QPR, Swansea, Newcastle, West Ham and West Brom

Beaten by Spurs and Liverpool

Yet to play Arsenal, City, Everton, Utd, Chelsea
Yeah but in fairness that's all you need to do to get a CL place, steam roll the cannon fodder and get a few bonus points against top 8 or so sides once in a while...how do you think we got 4th all these years mate? :D

I hope to God Southampton haven't mastered the Wenger flat-track bully manual.

i keep saying this, but you get more points for beating all 13 other teams home and away than beating the top 7 and dropping points vs the others.

they've had a great start, have a couple of top top players, but i can see a time where things will go a bit tough for them. it usually happens to a team breaking the top 7 - they come unstuck eventually - but there's always that one season wonder like newcastle had.

I haven't watched much of Southampton this year but Tadic + fullbacks aside I'm rather unimpressed. Clyne maybe the long term solution for England at RB though.

he definitely is. stones and chambers will look after the CB berths. very gutted we didn't go for him when he was out of contract, perfect like for like backup for coleman.
