Because there flat out would be a crap load more errors without it, but it's not because I think VAR reduces anything by being good, VAR sucks, I just think the refs are horrendous and until they retrained we'd see a load of baffling errors for a while. We'd come out of it eventually but the teething issues of refs having to actual make final decisions would be rough.

As I have previously said: I don't want VAR.

So you're saying there would be a crap load more errors without VAR.

I remember football before VAR and watch a fair bit of championship.

Im not convinced it reduces errors and even if did Iand by some margin I'd sooner leg it.

Its takes so much away from the game.

VAR does reduce errors but still produces some inexplicable decisions.

Regardless the joy and spontaneity that it drains from watching football far outweighs any benefit that it brings

@GrandOldTeam. The bias thing , with specific regard to the incident that caused the penalty to be awarded is irrelevant. I raised it only to suggest that if a similar one was given against Everton you would be somewhat less certain.
As it is you've gone from " penalty all day" to " soft penalty ".
You continue to ignore the incident of the penalty itself with the attacker instigating the minimal contact instead blaming Henderson for dropping the ball which isn't a foul.
Your contrarian position leaves me to ponder whether you are a @davek multi or he is one of yours.

The key thing here though is it wasn't about Everton - so there's no relevance. On this decision, bias only exists to one person and that'll be yourself.

It can be a penalty all day and a soft penalty.

Soft penalties are still penalties, all day.
