Today’s Football 25/26 Season

Apparently there are various solutions being proposed (only as trials atm) for when a keeper goes down injured (or 'injured').

I quite like the combined concept: no player may approach the technical area (possibly they have to gather in the centre circle in their half of the field) and the team captain has to go off for one or two minutes. (This doesn't apply if the keeper has to be substituted.)

Can see problems with the minute or two minute penalty. A player has to be signalled to come back on to the active field of play. There are instances where this could be held up, like for the taking of a corner perhaps.
Then there is the rolling injury, if we are a player down and someone clatters the goal keeper, does someone else go off as well? Now we're down to 9 players. Can this stack? didn't we have a head clash between Tarkowski and Keane some years back where they walloped one another? Do they both go off to join the goal keeper punishment for two minutes? We've also had a red card, now we're missing 4 players. The rules say 4 off the pitch = game forfeit.
There is another option, should a side use the injury rules to get a message for tactics to the side, ban the manager and coach for the following three games. Then six games and £500k fine. Then nine games and a £5M fine. Twelve games and a £50M fine. If they want it to stop, go after them with a bazooka.

Fannying around at the edges changes nothing. The application of force.

Would love to see a referee get clocked like this
Maybe if a ref or VAR gets a big decision wrong (such as the non-pen handball on Saturday) they should march them out at half time for that team's next home match and invite a lucky raffle winner to clock them. It'd be more entertaining than what we get now, bin "HIT THE BAR" and go with "HIT THE VAR".
