Atalanta is the only time he has ever produced anything of note, the rest of his career has been easily forgettable, As for being a key part of the Atletico team, I'm pretty sure this is only his 5th start (before you start with the just moved there nonsense he could have played more but hasn't) so that's a bit of an exaggeration on your part. You have always treated this player like he is some kind of world eleven superstar (for some unknown reason, I can only guess its a yank thing) He really isn't all that and certainly is not my idea of an exceptional player. One thing I thing we probably can agree on is that if we as a club want these scenarios to improve then it won't happen until Moyes has gone (hopefully that's sooner rather than later)
He’s been available for 13 games and started 10 including both Barca semi legs and both of these legs against Spurs with basically zero buildup with the team on the back of AFCON. He’s been brought in because he’s an important piece to what they want this team to be and he’s being used as such. It’s not really arguable at this point.

I’ve treated him like a superstar because save for Lukaku he’s the closest thing Everton have had to one in decades. He’s better than Ndiaye, better than Mirallas, better than Pienaar. The kid has it, had it, and my god did we make a mess of that.
Chill man, 4 Clubs missed it. that doesn't happen by accident..

Talented, yes. but a very late bloomer.
clubs cant wait that long to see a return on their investment..

And fans certainly won't.
People keep saying four clubs. It was two clubs. He was on loan and went back to RBL twice. We blew it and Leipzig blew it. We blow it constantly and RBL were doing the exact same thing with Matheus Cunha in that period. I mean look at Cunha’s career, it’s not so different, is he not actually as good as he looks every week?

  • PSG v Liverpool
  • Real Madrid v Bayern Munich
  • Barcelona v Atlético Madrid
  • Sporting v Arsenal

A soft draw for Arsenal and the easier side of the draw.

I think PSG will go back-to-back.
I reckon Arsenal will win it myself; practically had a by since the group stage (in which they were impressive it must be said) - they’ll beat Sporting and Barcelona and bore PSG to death in the final!

Not sure what Cunha has to do with it other than Leipzig.

I always saw Lookman as a Demari Gray, after seeing him with us. which was quite funny when Gray ended up at us and Lookman headed to Leicester. plenty of ability but for some reason or another, they couldn't make the most of it. In fact I thought Gray had a lot more natural ability.
sometimes these things just don't work out though.

Leipzig were the masters at that kind of approach, Multi club model based on finding the future gems.
For them to pull away from the deal shows a lot on it's own..

Whether it was loans or not, neither Fulham or Leicester saw him as a step forward, That's 4 clubs.
As we've seen with plenty of players recently, Moving to a lesser league (Italy) you have a much better chance of succeeding, especially at a club like Atalanta. And by then he was already in his mid 20's.

He found a new home, changed his game, started playing for Nigeria. and has kicked on..
Fair play to the lad, I'm happy for him.

But to go backwards saying all of clubs messed up, is pretty Nonsense.
He was just a late bloomer, and clubs can't afford to wait around on hope..

Players like him are a dime a dozen..

Players like are him are dime a dozen doesn't really square with one of the elite clubs in world football spending 30m on him at this point in his career, but whatever you have to keep telling yourself to not realize Everton have no clue what they're doing!

A much better chance of succeeding is so funny because Atalanta have done more in the last decade than Everton and it isn't close. Hell they kicked the everloving crap out of us, rebuilt the entire team, and then went and won a European trophy.

Ademola Lookman as a singular player is more successful than Everton Football Club in this century. No one wants to face facts on this. We as a club need to wake up and actually learn from all the mistakes.

I can remember Marco Silva's last season. He's often give Lookman 5-10 cameos and he always looked sharp and tidy without doing anything spectacular (which is to be expected in such short cameos) and meanwhile the bulk of minutes in that position he was giving to Theo Walcott who was trying his best to look as far away from being a professional footballer as possible.

They pumped PSG in Paris wth 10 men?
PSG before the spring are a very different test to PSG during the spring. The English clubs take the league stage much more seriously (and are less tired at that point), hence the Arsenal game being a better barometer for Bayern, in my view. Either way, the league stage is largely irrelevant in this competition. It's all on the knockouts. Bayern - like PSG - will be judged almost entirely over the coming month or so.
