Today’s Football 25/26 Season

His whole demeanour is negative. The fans are on his back and after last night I suspect the Board have had a word. That will have exacerbated his mood.
He needs to go now. We are in a relegation fight and in terrible form. We have no on the pitch leaders and are a soft touch. In short, everything we were has been sacrificed to Glasner Ball.
While it was working, with Eze and Guehi and a fit Mateta, all good. Now; no plan B (and plan A has been rumbled).

Sorry about that, Al… 🫤

Strange isn't it,after your cup win if we'd sacked Moyes and appointed Glasner most on here would have been dancing jigs.

I know you've constantly said that he knew when he joined that Palace were a selling club and that's the way they operate.

However looking at it from his point of view it's not unreasonable to expect that having taken Palace to their greatest heights and won the FA cup and got the club into Europe that the Palace board would seize the moment and change strategy and invest in the playing staff at a point of strength.

Instead they sold their best 2 players with pretty crap replacements and left squad numbers woefully inadequate for a European campaign.

Imagine in Moyes got us into Europe and we then sold Branthwaite and N'dayie replacing them with players that were far below their standard. The fans would be up in arms not at Moyes but at TFG.

It's a difficult situation at Palace but I don't think it's as black and white at you portray it Al.

gardening leave. keep him on the payroll until he's due finished and get a caretaker in asap.

It's difficult demanding commitment from players when they can look straight through you.

The bigger picture is that we are trying to increase match day revenue by spending £200m on a new stand and improve Selhurst generally. That's long overdue.
The board made a mistake in spending too much time on the Europa League expulsion and taking too long in replacing Dougie Freedman as Director of Football.

It's ridiculous to call the replacements for Eze and Guehi "crap". Those two were so good it would be almost impossible to replace them with the same quality and if you could, way beyond our resources. We have increased the size of the squad in January after qualifying for the playoffs with a " woefully inadequate " squad.
We are Crystal Palace, historically overachieving but the one thing we always had was fight and heart.
I have supported Glasner until now, but now he is obstinate and sulky. We don't need that now. He needs to go with our grateful thanks but he is currently stinking the place out.
